Have been looking through some of the books that I collected from the library yesterday, with Mrs Whiting's help. They are good reads, and I am starting to develop some ideas for possible topics.
The topic on the library webpage was History yesterday, and Mrs Whiting emailed me a link to some helpful articles about Women in Greece which are highly interesting.
I'm finding the resources about this topic very interesting; I'm looking forward to researching this topic further over the next few weeks, but I am keeping my mind open to other topics.

Today we had our first look at the curriculum outline of our special study. We set deadlines and analysed the requirements of the study. A few topics immediately came into mind, one in particular was the role of women in Greek society, and the differing standards between men and women. This has interested me whilst we have been analysing The Odyssey, and it is something that I would like to conduct more research about. I am looking forward to starting to gather ideas about other possible topics and brainstorm possible ideas for my special study.
